Brother Ron was a Magnifcent Gift to the Church and to the whole world of Religious men and women. He aided our Benedictine Community (St. Walburg Monastery, Covington, KY) through the renewal process in 1969. From that time until now I have benefitted from his counsel, his example, his humor and musical talent. He has been a true friend and brother in Christ. I will miss him but I am glad Jesus has called him to himself for all the rewards he so richly deserves.

We love Bro Ron and thank God for the gift of his life to us and our community, Our Lady of Grace Monastery, Beech Grove, IN - USA. He taught our community so much -- we will miss him. Brother Ron - what a gift to so many religious orders in transition years ago when Chapter gatherings were fraught with difficulties. One quote from Deut. I remember well - I set before you today life or death, blessing or curse. Choose LIFE! then so that you and your descendants may live. And we did!
He was an educationalist to his fingertips and he personally helped so many both in big groups and one to one. I cherish his help personally as I'm sure many do so I thank the Marists for freeing him to be available to support so many people and I thank brother Ron for his support and kindness.

My sympathy to all the Marist Community on the passing of Ronnie Fogarty. He was a great gift to our Congregation over the years. He gave us much joy and wisdom and of course some great musical evenings.
