Over the Christmas New Year period a number of visitors joined the Fitzroy community for varying periods. Fr Joe Donders from Washington enjoyed a six week stay culminating in his affiliation to the Marist Brothers. After many years supporting the Brothers Joe is claiming that this will be his last trip to Australia. In October he is leaving USA and retuning to Holland. Br Michael McManus (PNG) also enjoyed a lengthy stay with the community. Br Tony Clarke (East Timor) spent some time also in community with us and Brs Tony Shears, Greg McDonald and Pat Connell moved the Canberra Novitiate to Melbourne for a short while. Br Neil Emmett (Alice Springs) and Paul Murphy (Sale) both stayed a few days.
