The renovations of the Fitzroy community have recommenced after the Christmas break. The new  meeting room is nearing completion of the brickwork and the roof frame. Most of thedemolition work and the new partitionning has been completedand the rooms are starting to take shape. Discussions re the replacement of the rear wall/fence continue. There is still some water seepage in the basements and further investigations will be needed. The basement staircases in 76 and 78 have been repairedc and the one in 80 has been removed prior to replacing. Electrical wiring has been replaced and the plumber is about to start. The buildings are beginning to take on a pleasant aspect.
